DRYER
DANGERS
There were 13,900
clothes dryer fires in the U.S. in 1987, resulting in
20 deaths, 180 injuries and property loss estimated
at more than $40 million. According to the Consumer
Product Safety Commission, in most of these cases the
culprit was lint. - Robert J.
Richards, The Detroit News
THE
PROCEDURE
The dryer is
disconnected from the vent and a high-velocity blower
is attached. The blower operates throughout the
entire process. The high-velocity air sweeper pulls
itself through each turn of the vent, exerting 250
PSI toward the exhaust port. All lint and
debris are blown out of the vent as the sweeper is
withdrawn.
*Cleaning will
improve operation & efficiency-saving costs of
running (drying time)
